Our Services

An “apostille” is a form of authentication issued to documents for use in countries that participate in the Hague Convention of 1961. A list of countries that accept apostilles is provided by the US State Department. Every American document which is to be used abroad needs an apostille – it’s another sheet of paper stapled onto your document which basically authorizes international use.

The Office of the Secretary of State provides apostille and authentication service to U.S. citizens and foreign nationals on documents that will be used overseas, including corporate documents such as company bylaws and articles of incorporation, diplomas, transcripts, letters relating to degrees, marital status, references and job certifications, home studies, deeds of assignments, distributorship agreements, papers for adoption purposes, etc.

You do not necessarily need apostille if you need translation for immigration (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration ServicesUSCIS), U.S. Passport Agency, Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV), or any other agencies and organizations if you are already in the United States. However, you need to check this when you contact the agency. Please check the general Apostille requirements and your state rules HERE.
